First build- assembled everything correctly (I believe). Boots up and fans spin, lights, etc. but a very high-pitched beeping noise runs on a continuous cycle until powered down. No other audio and no visuals/picture at all appear. I have tried multiple input/outputs. What should I do? Thanks

The noise also comes from the alert from the hardware, not the display. Can't get anything through the display.

Solution
Try the main ATX 12V power line and CPU power line and unplug them and re-insert them and insure that they are securely fastened they are found here:

If that doesn't work try unplugging all devices such as (Fans (except cpu), Hard drives and Disk drivers and see if it boots then. if it does put one device back in at a time until you find which device is causing the issue.

3rd if that doesn't work as well as the top one try checking the RAM by unplugging one at a time and seeing if one of them is faulty.

Thanks! I'll try that- I also looked up the 'beep code' and discovered it is a ram problem- tried unplugging it, only 1 stick, etc. Is it a dud from the factory? Isn't that rare?
