Hello!,
Long story short I just recently obtained a a GTX 780TI ( http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=03G-P4-288... )

And excuse my ignorance (as this was a woopsy on my end) there seems to be an issue with my PSU. It's..not the best brand. Under certain mostly unknown circumstances my PC will completely shutdown without warning. (Four times playing Titanfall, Once on Garry's Mod, and a final time watching a video) Do not pass go, do not collect $200 etc.

I'm fairly confident this is a PSU problem..as, well, check this out: ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... or http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=... )

So! After doing some research I've decided to come to you guys and see what the rather knowledgeable people on tom's hardware would suggest. Don't worry about the budget but I have no qualms with paying less for a flawless product.

Thanks in advance.

Yep I would also replace that garbage PSU. A bit more info would be helpful. What are the rest of the systems specs? Are you overclocking or do you plan on overclocking? Do you want to SLI in the future?

Do you ever plan on going SLI? If yes, you'll want to pick up at least an 850W unit from the likes of Seasonic, PC Power & Cooling, Corsair, Antec, XFX, NZXT. If no, a ~500W unit with high efficiency from one of the aforementioned companies would be your best bet.

My apologies, posting the specs slip my mind now and then.. Though it's a good thing to note that I do plan, within 1-2 months, to completely rebuild as these parts are outdated and rather embarrassing. The early PSU upgrade is just to tide it over.

Mobo make/bios: AMI 0501 (I had the model written down somewhere...)
CPU: Phenom II X4 840
Memory: 10gb (Why 10? Not even I remember)
Currently a single 1TB Hdd (SATA II, 7200rpm) with plans on adding a second of yet unknown size with the new build.

I have no plans for any noteworthy overclocking right now. SLI in the future? For sake of this let's say no.

If you'd like anything more specific let me know, in a bit of a rush here as I must be leaving and will return later. Albeit that's all completely unrelated and by typing this out I'm wasting more time. Heh.

Also: Those two link's posted re-direct to the homepage. May be on my end. Name/Model so I can look them up later on?

I do appreciate the help, and apologize for forgetting information.

780ti is a really power hungry gpu and such lame psu cant keep up with it! i suggest a 650w quality unit to leave room for any overclocking! http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650snlb... . if you woould sli any time later you will need at least a 850w but with that cpu isnt advised. actually you will already have cpu bottleneck
