USB and repair tool - did not get the cd key

I am trying to get the repair system tool for my laptop which is using windows 8. The laptop crashed and I am unable to access anything, but the bios. Can some one please point me to download windows 8 repair software.

I am using Acer and they did not send the laptop with the cd key, not on a piece of paper not on the laptop.

The product key is embedded in the systems bios. You can download windows 8 and create a dvd(or use a usb flash drive) and use that as a repair disc.
You can download the windows 8 or 8.1 iso from microsoft.

Are there other solutions besides downloading windows 8(No cd key because I only have access to UEFI bios) or downloading the repair tool from a windows 8 computer?
