Topic says it all, really.
I'm wondering what the difference between a XFX Core Edition 850W and a XFX Pro Series 850W is.
On the company's homepage I can find no information about any Core Edition-series of PSUs.

Thanks!

the pro and core series are both XFX designed psus made by seasonic and are solid psus. the biggest difference is the efficiency rating of the two. The pro series are all silver and higher, the core are all bronze and lower. That said, the pro series XFX are widely considered to be some of the best psus on the market. The core series is very good but not elite.

*as a disclaimer: I do own an XFX 750W Pro PSU... It's a fantastic psu, best one i've ever personally owned.

Very confusing terminology.
I just bought a PRO 750W which comes with 80 Plus Bronze and is "fully wired" a neologism to give the false impression that is better than a modular unit.

I get the impression that gold is better than bronze in terms of efficiency and that modular is better than fully wired.
So mine is hardly a true representation of what a PRO edition should be.
