Monitor flickers when playing some games.

Please help me with my problem. I have a Sapphire 2GB R9 270X Dual-X with Boost. Some games do not have the issue of flickering like :

Assassin's Creed IV
Hitman Absolution
Mortal Kombat 9
NBA 2K14
BioShock 1 and 2

However it does flicker with some games like

DOTA2
Bioshock Infinite
GTA IV/EFLC


My specs are as follows

AMD FX6300
ASRock N68C-GS P1.4
Sapphire 2GB R9 270X DUAL-X
4GB KINGSTON HYPERX

Could the problem be with the VGA and DVI adapter?

I currently have an ACER P205H LCD monitor, I think it has DVI-D, I do not know if this will solve the current issue. As with the driver, I am currently using 13.12, do you suggest I get the 14.3 beta?

Although, I don't really think it's due to the VGA display input, because as I've said it only happens to some games that I play. When I play AC4BF and NBA2K14 the problem cease to exist. Do you think otherwise?

I doubt a driver update will fix the issue. The flickering is not necessary always visible with VGA cables. I own an 7870 and have used it with DVI and DisplayPort and have never experienced any flickering.

So you're suggesting to get a DVI-D connection? I only have DVI-D and VGA option on my LCD monitor, also there is some weird coil whining coming from the speaker.
