Hey Everyone,

I am looking to build a rig for $1000 which will be used for moderate gaming (I don't need MAX settings but still value quality) and photo/video editing (Adobe Photoshop and Premier).

I have been trying to navigate everything online but it has been upwards of 8 years since my last build so I am hoping someone will provide some ideal starting points or even complete rig setups.

Parts that do not need to be included:
Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and optical drives

Parts that would be appreciated:
Smaller SSD - to work as main drive for OS and as a scratch disk for for editing software
Larger SATA drive for storage
LGA 1150 - (i7) - for hyper threading in its relation to editing software

If an extra $100-200 would make a substantial difference than that would be acceptable.

Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing your thoughts :)
