Hi guys, first build and it doesn't boot other than fans spinning. No visual. Boot code is 1 long, 2 short on an Asus Z87-A board. I discovered that means it is a RAM issue- what should I do? Do I have to buy new ram? Is the pc still good? Thanks for any help!

Agree reseat the RAM. Also try with just one stick at a time and see if the system will boot. What exact make/model ram do you have and is it listed as approved for your motherboard?

Yep I've taken out the RAM, tried in the other channel, with only 1 stick, etc. I'm using G. Skill-
