My graphics card has broken recently and i decided to upgrade. I have received my new graphics card but nothing is displaying on the monitor when i plug the hdmi into the motherboard. Is there a way to enable the on board video without being able to see what i am doing on the computer.

I have already tried taking out the old card and rebooting but there is still signal being sent to the moniter.

You must plug the HDMI into the GPU, not the motherboard.

With a card you will have to connect the monitor to it not the motherboard.

Sounds like a faulty card.. Can you test it in another computer?
