HDD light flashes every 2 seconds?

Hello, Ive recently been having this problem. For the past couple days now after a power outage my HDD led light flashes every 2 seconds. It wouldn't really annoy me but my led light makes a cricket like noise every time it flashes. Honestly it may have been doing it before the outage but i cant remember. Ive checked to see if i have anything odd running in the background but i haven't seen anything suspicious. Any help would be appreciated

test the drive with the maker tool it could be falling due to the power outage .

Seagate st3160815as and a WD WD10ezex-00bn5ao

the seagate is where i have my operating system on and the WD is just for games.

Does it flash only when the OS is loaded? That may be normal because I see that on all systems running Windows.

it flashes regardless, even when its idle. The only time it doesn't flash is when the damn things off. Im stumped right now. I ran the disk error check on both drives and nothing came up.

The HDD LED shouldn't flash when the system is in the BIOS, but the OS never is completely idle. If it flashes while in the BIOS, then disconnect one drive to identify which one is causing disk activity.
