Is the system i am going to get a good gaming rig that can run most high spec demanding games on ultra and maxed out settings on 1080p. Also can this system overclock as I might consider over clocking my CPU (is this necessary)? Here is system:
Intel i5 4670k
Asus Maximus VI hero (c2 version)
MSI twin frozr gtx 770 SLI (two cards)-for higher performance on games like crysis 3 and arma 3
Crucial ballistix tactical 8GB (2X4GB)
Zalman z11 plus midi tower case
XFX 750 watt PSU
Cooler master hyper 212 EVO
1 TB seagate hard drive HDD
Samsung 840 series 250 GB SSD
Thanks in advance :)

Solution
It depends on what programs he is running.
If your just playing games there is no need for more then 8GB of RAM.
It running heave programs like Photoshop, AE, Premier ETC more RAM is much better.
Those programs can utilize a lot of RAM.

By having more RAM you avoid bottle necking with your entire system.
Because you want to play on ultra more RAM would be a good thing.
It will handle background apps and improve GPU performance if you set some of it aside as VRAM.
It will also make your computer more future proof.

8GB has been proven time and time and again being enough for gaming, only your last statement makes any sense!

100% agree. 8gb RAM is more than enough. Chances are that DDR4 will be mainstream before 16gb ddr3 even comes into play at all for game performance.

I might get into photo editing and things like that and graphics designing using software like Photoshop I will also be recording rendering and uploading big file sized videos on a daily basis, so I was thinking about getting another 8gb kit of the same RAM later on when starting Photoshop and photo editing and graphics designing. Is this a good idea and will it work? However I have not fully made my mind up whether i will or not yet so I am not going to buy it straight away. But I mostly think I will take this up so should I start with 16gb or upgrade later on or wait for DDR4 (which could be years away)?
(I should of put this is in the question description)

Yes, More RAM for those programs are good.
Photoshop will use a lot of RAM when working on big files. (Most all Adobe programs)
I would start with 8Gb and see how you like it.
You will have to tell Photoshop ETC how much RAM you want it to use.
I would upgraded later on if you need it. Do not wait for DDR4. It will be a wile until they release it.
