normally there should be an XMP setting which allows you to select the extended profile, such as 2133 timing.
Alternatively, you can set it yourself to 2133, it should pick up the other timings such as CAS etc (eg. the 11-11-11-30 timings) itself, or again you can set these yourself.
You can try overclocking. My 2133 Gskill hits 2400, with similar timings to those at the stock 2133. There's little to gain above 1600 though, apart from benchmarking and it's interesting to try.
I cannot overclock at the moment (on stock cooler). Also I just moved from a very old AMD processor. Never used intel before therefore i am lost at the bios as most of the settings aren't the same.
Is it better to enable XMP and let it do all the work or manually set the frequency? Also I have never messed around with CAS. Does XMP do that too? I have no idea where you got my ram timings from.
They were just example timings of typical 2133 memory, if you post the link to your memory, I can tell you the correct ones. If you find the XMP settings, just use that if you're not bothered about o/c, it will set the correct timings based on what it reads from the memory itself.
All BIOS's are laid out differently depending more on the mobo manufacturer than whether it's Intel or AMD, although there are some specific settings for these two, I believe XMP is common. Can you post a screen shot of your BIOS settings to we can point you to the right area? (Put a USB stick in and press F12 whilst on the BIOS page, it should capture the screen).
