Is this a good future-proof Gaming build?

Well, there is no such thing as future proof.

the cooler is junk. Either get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO or use the stock cooler.

The fx6300 will be a bottleneck in some places. I would change it for an fx8320. Then this would be a solid build. Also, go for the 650w version of the PSU if you plan to overclock these parts.

Yeah, I was going to use the stock cooler, I just forgot to remove it.

Thanks for this as I did change the CPU, are you sure this is really necessary as this is a Budget build

IF you were using a lower end GPU, no it is not needed, but with the gtx770 you want a CPU that will not limit it's performance.

That is an option, but do not expect to max all games or anything.

Well, That is not what I recommended. IF you keep the 770, you should be getting the 8320 not the 6300.

No, that is considerably worse and will drastically lower your performance in games. It is even much worse than a 760.

The 760 is a good option. You will not need an 8320 if you get a gtx760. Don't expect to max all games though. You will be playing at high settings, not max like if you had an 8320 and 770.
