I want to buy the GeForce GTX 770 but im sort of a newbie with graphics cards and im not sure if its compatible with my power wattage etc, my pc is kinda new, only 2 years old and i guess its decent but it has a crappy graphics card. Also if there's any other graphics card that would be more suitable I would great full if you'd let me know, my budget is around $500 (£300). I think the wattage of my pc is 460w.

You'll need to upgrade the PSU i highly doubt the stock Dell 460w PSU will last long under the load a gtx 770 will put on it. A 550w unit from Seasonic, XFX, or Antec would be good. You'll also need to make sure you have room in the case for the GTX 770 you want to install some of those cards are very long and may not fit.

You could find that a new non-Dell PSU won't have the right connectors to fit the motherboard. You need to tell us the Dell model number. If we're lucky we'll find the mobo. But last one I looked at it was a no go. You might have to ask Dell about a 550W PSU.

"Dell Inc. 0Y2MRG" This indicates a XPS 8300 which uses a standard ATX psu.

Are the mobo power connectors compatible? The 24 pin looks a bit odd. And it doesn't look like there's an EPS connector. I'm only finding crummy photos though. I haven't found any details eg mobo manual.
