That's a good CPU but don't go with a 50$ motherboard for a 200$ CPU. And don't get this one - MSI 970A-G46, because it's having some issues with the FX8350. This is a prety good motherboard for that CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131851R.

I was just reading this post and was wondering what makes this CPU not compatible with that motherboard? Just looking to gain some knowledge here. I was under the impression that if the sockets were the same they would work together.
