Hi everyone,

I'm building my first home machine for HD video editing and After Effects work, plus Photoshop, internet, etc... No gaming.

My original choice was the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card, but a few people have suggested I get a Quadro. Except I want to keep the price under $400, $300 if possible.

What are your suggestions for such a card? (Here's my build thus far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3nhUK)

Thanks for any time or info you have!

Paolo

A lot of people who do video editing and after effects use geforce cards. When I was going to school for computers I had a lot of friends who where taking classing like photography, 3d modeling and they all used regular video cards and they had no problems. The quadro is a very nice card for doing what you want to do, but really the gtx 770 will be more than enough to keep up with your work.
