Hey there ,
I'd like to know if my fps at this game " APB RELOADED " will be increased if i changed my " INTEL CELERON (D) 347 1core 3.06ghz 512 cache " To " Intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz 2mgb cache " ?
I am not good as this stuff .. but yea i know mine and even the core 2 duo is old but that is what i can get for now.
And here is my pc specs :
4gb ram ~ gpu geforce 210 1gb ~ cpu : intel celeron d 347 1 core 3.06ghz 512 cache .
I can run this game at like 5 ~ 10 fps .. and even lower at close combats..
So if i changed my processor to that one > intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz 2mgb cache ! will that increase my fps at this game to at least 20 fps ?!

Solution
The core 2 duo is a great processor from its time. I think from ebay you could get both a core 2 duo and a gt 520 if you wanted to. I think the total cost would be around $50 and you would probably get like 20-30 fps in the games you play now or even more.

yeah defiinately will be increased but i would invest in a low end gpu such as the hd 7770 or the r9 250x aswell as a better cpu such as i3 when you can afford it.
You may not get 20fps since your gpu is holding you back, what resolution do you play at?

The 210 is a terrible card that won't really get all that high of fps in the first place. the core 2 duo will help you depending on the games that you play. But I would get something like even a gt 520 will help you out more than that 210. I would suggest a 750 ti because of it not requiring any extra power connectors, but I am guessing that is way out of budget. I also have noticed a lot of people who ask these older system questions normally have limited access to current components but the 520 I've seen available at a decent price in a lot of countries

You need to know what is bottlenecking. Run "openhardwaremonitor" in the background and check the graphs of CPU and GPU utilisation. Upgrade whichever is at 100%. As mentioned, unfortunately your current specs aren't good, so you may need to change both CPU and GPU to get any playable fps.

The CPU usage is always 100% when i run any online game even league of legends .. and some times the cpc usage gets 100% even when i open only the google chrome browser.
yea i know they aren't good .. i bought this pc since 4+ years i guess so everything is kinda old.
thanks for your answer.
