I have a new build on which I'm attempting to configure RAID 1. I power up and go into the Adaptec 6405E Controller BIOS and get the "No drives detected" message when I attempt to initialize the drives. Any advice on how to get the drives detectable? BIOS recognizes all memory modules.

Not sure if this is relevant but the cable harness that comes with the controller has 4 SATA cables and another cable whose connector isn't labeled. I can't seem to find any documentation regarding this connector closely resembling a USB or 1394 mobo connector.

Note to self: Check the cable harness connection on the controller. It really does help to have it plugged in all the way. Problem solved. :)
