I want to install a thin mini-ITX motherboard inside a mini-ITX case.

Unfortunately, most thin mini-ITX boards come with just one I/O shield, and it's designed for a thin mini-ITX case.

The only exception I've found so far is from ASRock (e.g., the H81TM-ITX) , which includes two I/O shields, one for a thin mini-ITX case, and one for a normal case.

Although ASRock seems a decent choice, I'd like to have more options.

Questions:

Do any other motherboard manufacturers offer more than one shield?

Are there mini-ITX cases that include some sort of "reducer plate" to allow the use of a thin mini-ITX shield?

Other than using no I/O shield, is there another solution?

Thanks in advance.

With more research I learned:

1. The ASUS H81T/CSM thin mini-ITX motherboard comes with two I/O shields. (I'll probably buy this board because it has other features I want -- like mSATA.)

2. At present, Gigabyte doesn't offer a normal I/O shield with their four thin mini-ITX boards, and it's not possible to order one separately. But they may do so in the future.
