Sapphire Radeon R9 290 vs msi r9 290

Solution
As Gam3r01 said, given the choice always go new, you know what you're getting and it comes with a warranty. When used there is always a chance of it not working or having been abused. On a $400+ part, I'd go with the peace of mind of a new card.
