gtx 760 and 780 in a same pc

right now I have a 760 windforce with which I'm more than happy but the 780 poseidon looks soooo sick I'm thinking of getting it which is a big maybe and I want to keep the 760 too is there anyway that I can use them both? I know sli is not possible I just want to know if i can use them from the same pc maybe one at a time. I just want to know might not even buy the 780. thanks

Yes, you can use two dissimilar gfx cards in the same PC. One for each monitor.

They have to have the same amount of VRAM. And I don't think you can SLI a single GPU card and a double GPU card anyway.

You want to sell a GTX 760 and replace it with another GTX 760? I'm having trouble following your logic.

My first choice would be an exact match to the card you have now. I always went with same cards when I did SLI or CF. But as long as you get one that has the same memory size/speed and GPU, you should be OK. Do they still offer the Windforce where you're at?
