Recently I tried fitting my new GTX 650 in my PC but it wouldn't fit at all. At first I thought maybe I was doing it wrong (this is my first time doing this) but then I noticed the motherboard seems to be maybe too close to the left side of the case? is there anything I can do to get my card to fit?

Yes I did.

That might work. What would I have to do exactly? Just loosen the mounting screw slightly?

I don't know what my MOBO is I just know it's a Lenovo k300 and yes I'm installing it inthe PCI-Ex16 slot.

Yes just loosen the mounting screws for the board slightly then after install of the GPU re tighten them.

I'll try that later tonight then. I just hope I don't destroy my motherboard by accident or something. But I should be fine I think.

There's plenty of room for the card to fit in the case, it's just the card is like 2mm off to the right from fitting perfectly on the slot. Feels like the motherboard wasn't screwed on correctly or something.

I tried loosening the screws last night but one of them would not turn at all and I was too afraid of forcing it. Should I try to turn it harder or is there something else I can do? I really don't want to have to return this card.

It was actually the top left screw so maybe you're right. I'll try it again tonight.

Late response but I finally got around to loosening the mobo screws and the mobo wouldn't move at all. I even gave all the screws an extra turn but it still wouldn't budge. Is there anything else I can do to get this card in?
