Hello,

I just pieced together my first desktop. After installing windows 8.0 and booting up, the rig has crashed more than 5 times in the last hour. The crash is an immediate shut down, it does not freeze or restart. The average time before a crash is around 2 minutes; at times it wont boot back up immediately. Drivers for motherboard and video card have been installed.

I'm thinking its not a hardware issue- since windows installed completely without a problem. I opened bios all system tempts that were listed seemed normal, 35c for processor. I haven't changed the default ram settings because I'm not sure what to set them as.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. If you need further clarification or have questions let me know :)

I can't get it to stay up long enough to run any tests.

In bios what should my settings look like?
