Side-note, never go for a retailer's combo package, You will ALWAYS get a better deal making your own list. You'll also have choice over components.

I'm sure if you post in the correct forum you will get plenty of educated and helpful answers, good luck!

Honestly buddy. the parts out there are so diverse a lot of research would be the only way to truly answer that question. My biggest issue i luckily caught before purchasing my system was how much electricity my power supply actually used to give me what my system needed. My original PSU im estimating to cost literally 25% more to run than the one i ended up with. My trusty rosewill load meter if calculations are correct are going to run be about 15 bucks this month to run with max power saving features on and being very anal about keeping the system off when not in use. If i left my computer on all the time without power saving on it would cost around 40 bucks. If i had skimped and gotten a bronze like the one in that system i would be paying a as much to run my PC as i do heating my water, lol.
