Not happening without a lot of sacrifices.

A8 and crappy motherboard-

Or A6 and good motherboard-

Benchmarks: http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/3nq3k/benchmarks/

CPU: AMD A6-6400K 3.9GHz Dual-Core Processor ($89.95 @ Computer Lounge)
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A88M-HD+ Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard ($98.00 @ Paradigm PCs)
Memory: Kingston 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($61.72 @ Aquila Technology)
Storage: Western Digital WD Blue 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive ($73.21 @ Aquila Technology)
Case: Fractal Design Arc XL ATX Mid Tower Case ($53.36 @ Ascent Technology)
Power Supply: Cooler Master 450W 80+ Silver Certified ATX Power Supply ($89.26 @ Ascent Technology)
Total: $465.50

Oh and the integrated graphics will perform terribly with just one stick of RAM.

hard to make it cheaper as you've already chosen the cheapest components and to be honest I wouldn't trust that PSU.

As above, sit it on your desk with no case!

Is it then much better to get a 8GIG 4x2 ram? Rather then wait. And why would the ram effect the APU.? Thanks so much :)

The amount of RAM is not as important after 4GB. It's the speed of the RAM that is important when you are using integrated graphics. It's optimum to use the fastest RAM you can get in dual channel for best results. If you only have one stick of RAM then you are running single channel which is slow. It would be much better to get two 2GB sticks than one 4GB stick.

I strongly recommend you wait and save up more money. Trying to build a "gaming" PC for less than $500NZD is just not going to be worth it. Neither of those builds above would be worth a crap. You need at the very least $50 more if not $100 more to get a useful gaming PC.
