Sorry for double post, but i am not getting reply so thought of posting here:
My System:
Gigabyte H55m S2V motherboard
4GB DDR3 1333 MHZ(Corsair) + 2GB DDR 1333 MHZ(Transcend)
500 GB Seagate Blue (3 years old, dont even know the RPM)
Intel I3 540 - 3GHZ
Corsair VS650W -- Got it new
Zotac 760 AMP Edition -- Got it new
Previous Config:
Everything Same Except I had 400W SMPS(Iball) AND ofcourse EXCEPT graphics Card
And it was working from past 3 years !!
My Problem
1. I installed everything, i used Molex converters to connect graphics card (is this correct), problem was with SMPS PCI connectors, the wire /card was so big that when i was closing my case the wire was getting bent, so i thought to use molex --- Is this ok ??
2. I ran Fifa 14 and Hitman Abolution and they were getting a little hang in between the levels but framerates and environment was awesome with max settings -- Could this be the processor and Hard disk Weakness ??
3. Now, suddenly my hard disk started taking too much time to copy and even CCCleaner (a cleanup tool) was not able to analyze and clean in one hour, which normally takes 2 mins !!
Also when i was starting my PC, it rebooted on windows logo and then it failed to start, I thought to reinstall, It is now taking huge time at the "Copying Files" on Windows 7 Installation which normally wud have taken LESS than 1 min !! .. Also when I went to format my C drive through installation, it took tooo long to format and delete a mere 50GB Partition ----> Is my hard disk crashed ???
4. I am thinking of buying Intel I5 3570, and ASRock Z87 Pro4 Motherboard -- Will this INCLUDING my graphics card will be sufficient for VS650 Corsair ??
When I was playing and under normal stuff I was able to smell and feel a little heat, but HDMonitor is reporting 70 Max on CPU, 56 Max on Board, 45 Max on GPU
My Cabinet is not great, Iball with only one exhaust fan and a space for another fan on side
Can someone reply to my questions and tell me is this just a coincidence or is my SMPS is not adequate ?? or is it RAM which is a problem ? My GPU ? My Hard Disk
