BSOD and errors installing Windows 7 on new build

Hey guys, my issue is something I have never experienced before in that I can't even get a OS installed to troubleshoot. The problem being that each time I go to install windows it makes it to different spots in the process, sometimes loading windows files, sometimes while installing, but the furthest it ever makes it to is "Expanding windows files" at about 15 percent. Each time it fails the error is different, varying from missing .sys files and different STOP errors. I have tried clearing the CMOS, resetting defaults and optimized settings, different hard drives, different methods of installing (from usb in legacy and UEFI as well as by disc) and can confirm the disc I have does work.

Here are my specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
Mem: Patriot Viper Extreme PX38G1600C11 (8gb)
CPU: AMD FX 8320
550 Watt PSU
Video: Radeon HD 6850
2TB WD Hard Drive @ 5400 rpm

Could be a number of issues. What is your CPU temperature in the BIOS showing? While your in there, what are your monitored power supply rails looking like? Any far off the spec?

You could try downloading the CD ISO for Memtest and run it for a few hours to see if you have bad RAM.

Could be a bad drive as well, but I'd shoot down the first couple options here before heading down that road. That is unless you have a spare drive kicking around.

CPU runs cool at 33c, i have tried 3 different drives and confirmed all of them work outside the machine, and I can't find anything about psu "rails" in my BIOS PC health.

Under PC Health, check you Vcore, Vram, 3.3V, 5V, 12V. The last three are your power supply rails (the major ones anyway). They should be very close to the stated values.

Vram seems a little low for that kit. Specs say 1.5V. Odd, most motherboards overvolt everything to make sure it will be stable. Try setting your RAM voltage to manual and bump it to 1.5 or one notch higher.

DDR voltage at 1.5v and vtt is at 1.05 in the channel timing. Isn't that the proper speed?

I was going by the PC Health voltage, it's showing 1.476V. Even that is pretty close, the random crashing seems memory related. It's completely possible that's not it at all. It could be memory related, but could be faulty RAM which won't respond to increased Vram. Just something quick you can try.
