I don't plan on doing heave OCing with it..or any if that But i want something that keeps cool and quiet. I'm a little new the desktops(had Laptops most of my life) installation might be a problem for me.

One ive looked at is a Noctua NH-L12 low profile, Looks easy to install and i think its better then intel stock cooler

More about : cpu cooler good price easy install

cooler master evo 212 is good, cheap, popular and very easy to install. The Noctua looks tricky to me.

I second that. Noctura is they best but they are a little more pricey.

I second the Hyper 212 EVO. I have two of these in systems here at home. Excellent cooling for the money. Performs fairly close to heatsinks twice the cost. Easy to install.

Have a look at Tom's reviews from July 2013: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-heat-sink-hasw...

Noctua wins!

Certainly it wins, however that wasn't the heatsink from Noctua the OP was asking about. He / she also said that there will be no overclocking. The heatsink you've linked to is complete overkill for a stock clocked system and is 3X the cost of a Hyper 212 EVO.

the Noctua NH-U14s upright cooler wins that test (in which the evo is not represented), but the op mentioned the low profile version which likely performs less well and is $75 vs about $35 for the evo.

Whatever you decide to go with, make sure it fits in your case. Some of these heatsinks are pretty big.

Just get the evo. Even if you are ocing it is still great. no point in spending 70+
