Hello all,

This is my first gaming rig. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on a couple things. I do plan on experimenting with overclocking (which I have never done before) I already have purchased this far:

I5 4670k
Asus Maximus vi hero
2x8gb corsair vengeance 2133
240 gb seagate 600 ssd
Cooler master storm Stryker

I am going to temporarily use:

Zotac gtx 650 ti 2 gb ddr5
Thermal take tr2 600w psu

I plan to upgrade my gpu in the near future to a gtx 770 or 780 possibly 780ti

What PSU would be appropriate for this setup? I also plan to get either a noctua ndh14 or phanteks phtc14pe, any suggestions for this cooling setup? I want to stick with air only because I will be transporting this to LAN parties n such.

Thanks a lot!!

-Morkor

650 silver-gold rated is more than enough. 800-950w gold-silver if you plan to do SLI/crossfire.

I agree with kippohippo except it doesn't necessarily have to be silver-gold rated. Just make sure the PSU you're getting is from a trustworthy brand.
