I am upgrading my PSU because i am ordering a GTX 770. Are all power supplies compatible with motherboard, gpu, etc.? anything i have to make certain of?

All ATX PSUs have standard fixing points/screw holes positions so you should be okay there, and they are universally compatible regardless of motherboard model, CPU platform or GPU model.

Make sure it has enough wattage,probably about >550watts and from a good brand.You could look at that in the next link,

anything from tier2B and up are good,tier3 could you also choose but are already budget choices.

Make sure the psu has two pcie power connector cables which are 8=6+2 pin.The good psu's out of that list should have these,maybe some only have 1x8pin + 1x6pin which is for most gtx 770t's enough,but some of these gpu's require 2x8pin,so check.
