What would give better performance, a single Xeon 1230 v3 or two AMD fx6300s?
The two AMD fx6300s have higher clock speeds (3.5GHz) and 12 cores all together.
The Xeon 1230 v3 has a clock speed of 3.3GHz and only 4 cores.
Given the two options are about the same price, would the dual cpu configuration win outright in every performance test?
Also, can anyone recommend a motherboard with dual cpu capability? (sub $200 if one exists)
