I bought a readycache today and haven't noticed much difference. Not just in regular performance, benchmarks like Crystal Disk Mark are showing normal speeds.

It really only helps with boot up times I found. I'm assuming you installed the software also and rebooted a few times also? I used to use that device before I upgraded to a the Samsung EVO and removed the ready cache entirely. I can say though that my boot speeds were fatter but that was really about it. Keep in mind also that it's only 32GB so it fills up day and any one here will tell you that SSD speed decreases dramatically when they reach near full.

Should I be clearing the cache often? I mean, I haven't reboot a lot yet but I have noticed faster boot speed. I'm getting a Kingston SSD in on Tuesday that I was going to use for my OS, does the ReadyCache even matter after that?

No I wouldn't clear it out as that will require the software to relearn everything again. One you get the SSD you could still leave the cache in but really it serves little purpose. I removed the cache from my system and used the SSD for the OS and few games with my normal drive for everything else.
