screen freeze and im the forced to reboot

so last night i decided to do a fresh win7 install after installing the windows and all the drivers and updating windows i decided to run the windows index score, after around 2min my screen freeze in black, im then forced to reboot and then i though woah woah and launched diablo 3 could play for around 5min before my screen crashed and my sound was buzzing but this time the color was red.
ive tried reinstalling the gpu driver and even reset bios and reinstalling windows two times but yet without luck
could someone please help me?
spec: i5 3570k 3.4ghz
1600mhz 16gb ram
gtx 770 asus direct cu

That sounds like your display driver is crashing. It's normally caused by an unstable overclock. Using a program like MSI Afterburner, try reducing the core and memory clocks on your graphics card by 25mhz and see if that helps.

well i installed windows updates restartet went to bios disabled onboard vga and restarted then i was able to use index score this time i got a 7.9 i then proceeded to play 30mins of diablo without a crash, then i restarted went to bios oced my cpu and ran the index a few times and did a render test with gpuz without any crashes. i will follow up if anything further should happen, btw forgot to mention that i had no problem at all before i reinstalled win7 and i did that cus i wasnt sure if i had download the right bios (i got ga z77p d3 r.xx and there is r1.0 and r1.1 so wasnt entirely sure but as it seems now its fixed but ima give it a day or two simply checking and all that
