hello,
I saved a folder in my pen drive having some data in it. Now i don't want that folder to be deleted even if i format it....Is there any software for that..

There are ways that make it harder, but in no way impossible.

Create a second partition under Linux. Windows refuses to read partitions other than the first on external drives, so it doesn't show up.

I could still get rid of it with two commands, though.

CD is about the only media that can't be formatted over.
