Do you mean you use the 1X2GB RAM + other 512MB RAM? It does not work, the MB only can support up to 2GB, that means 2X1GB stick memory, not the 2GB stick.

i have 1 stick 2Gb. For giggles i added a 512mb stick in the second slot and it works o.0 so apperantly ecs's website isnt up to date because im running both sticks full capacity. with no issues no over heating instability or obvious latency issues. linux and windows both recognize and use it. speccy and system statistics (linux equivalent of speccy) recognize it. so then if ecs's website was wrong about the RAM limits on the board how do i found out the limit for this mobo?

ok i did some digging and found i had the manual for the wrong verson of my board (m2 not M3) the M3 maxes at 4GB is there ANY way i can override that? im reviving an old computer i have to make a mediocre gaming computer but 4GB doesnt really go far now a days but ive already sank alot into the old junker to just trash it and start over.
