I'll be doing a custom loop FYI :bounce:

What do you all think? (Loaded question? :p )

Skip the custom loop and invest in a better gpu and another 1tb black disk for raid 0, that's what i think.

And you want to use a wireless mouse for gaming? I'd suggest a Razer Deathadder 2013 for gaming, it's the same price too (cheaper at best buy).

Also, windows 8 is better for gaming. Keyboard is personal, but i would go for a mechanical one.

Looks good IMO, but you could go with a smaller power supply. 650 watts is going to be enough.

You should also ditch the formula and just get the hero. Its just as good where it counts, $100 less. Use that $100 and get a 780.

Umm, is there a particular reason you need to buy a $300 motherboard? I mean it doesn't appear to me that you're going to be doing some serious SLI builds that would warrant just an expensive board. An ASRock Extreme4 or Asus Z87-A is more than capable of doing what you're wanting. If you drop that motherboard, you could get a 780 GTX and possibly an i7.

eduello is right unless you are going for SLI in the future.
and maybe go for a lower end mobo? anything around 200 USD should suffice (IMO).
and also go for lower end memory (like memory with lower freq. like 1600mz because performance gains over 1600mz is very low compared to price jump and you can still OC it to 1866mz).
If you still want to cut costs the maybe the CM HAF 912 for your cabinet.
Overall I think your build is awesome even if you leave it like that.

as others said... no reason to get that motherboard.

Also... $390 for a 2gb 770???? that seems insane. I've seen several models recently on newegg for $320.

You can get a 780 for $450 after rebate. that card you selected just seems like bad price point to be at for a 770 2gb.

yes i will SLI later on, and the only reason im getting that card is because its a reference design (fits with my XSPC Razor Waterblock)
