Nvidia Gtx 780 6GB teases a Gtx 790 12gb?

Is it possible that the new revised 780 with 6gb will be a part of the dual 790 to include 12gb of ram? This could make sense in that it will also be a cheaper more gaming idead dual gpu instead of the titan Z. With the 295x2 there will undoubtably be a 790, there is a gap between the amount of VRAM for 4k performance and a 790 will be forced out of nvidia

You realize that even if they used the 6GB 780s, SLI doesn't work that way, and you wouldn't get 6GB + 6GB of VRAM, it would just be 6GB of VRAM.

I am waiting for more news about this card, I am currently in the process of completely changing my rig and for some reason, after so much research, I keep coming back to a mini atx case I saw. I know it isn’t the optimal setup for a gaming rig but I just really like it and it fits one full size card, which is also good, as it will keep me from burning holes through my wallet with SLI configs but because of this I really want to see what the 790 is capable of because I am really into 3 monitor gaming, even tho it’s only 3x 1080p
