i guess one ram doesnt work

Hi .i have hp pavillion dv 6000.i opened my laptop for cleaning, after it i found no display,i shuffle rams but no display,at last i took one ram off then display appeared.whats the problem is second ram is faulty. Please advice

Hi there,
Seems to me like the ram may be faulty...
Did you wear any anti-static protection? as you may of accidently shocked the ram.
Test it by pulling out the good ram (by the corners) and plug the "faulty" one in.
Does it boot?
If not then the ram may be faulty or broken.
Also check if the BIOS detects the ram if you get it too boot.
