Hi guys,

I was wondering if it is possible to combine the C: drive, which is the SSD, and the D: drive, which is the HDD, so that they appear as one.

Thannks!

Can you do it - yes (a JBOD array - just a bunch of disks array).

SHOULD you do it (with an SSD and HDD) - NO!!!

While you could combine them to show as one drive, due to some parts of larger files being on the HDD the transfer rates and latency of the "combined" drive will be close to that of a HDD. So why spend 10x as much (per GB of space) on a fast SSD only to pair it with a slow HDD and lose all the speed benefits?

If you have a small (16/32GB ssd) you might want to look into setting it up as a cache drive. This way windows saves often used files to the fast SSD to make things load faster.
