Can I have two wireless networks connected to the same computer at the same time?

Solution
Absolutely.

Several motherboards have dual wired network ports plus built in wifi. No real reason it can be 2 wired+1wireless and not the other way around.

Issue will be keeping programs/tasks assigned to the correct network. I've tried using a VPN to play network games before and was never able to get the game to communicate over the VPN (always went for the main wired connection)

I would be interested if this is even possible also because out here in the Boondocks "East Bumble ^@^#$ No Where" the internet provider is horrible and be nice to connect my Voice Com's to one Wireless connection while I play my Game through 1 PC

I also like to have the ability to switch back and forth often between my win XP laptop's built-in wireless (which usually picks up my friend's network next door), and my iPhone's tethering (using my phone's 2 GB data plan). The laptop's when the service is good (it's free and unlimited), or my phone's when poor (to conserve my data otherwise).
It's just easier not to have to disable my laptop's connection every time i want to switch to tethering.
But i was concerned whether having both simultaeously connected might weaken them-- like if maybe they compete and dilute each other?

I have a wireless HDD. If I want to transfer files to the wireless HDD I have to disconnect my usual Wi-Fi connection (the one I use to get on the internet) and connect to the wireless HDD. Is there any way around this or do I have to just live with it?

also seems there's a conflict when i try to connect via phone tether, if i had just the last PC session used the wireless.
so there must be some way to config 2 wirelesses, or 1 wireless + 1 USB, or even just to tell it to disconnect one without having to shut down your whole system.
