My PC has been making weird noises, this has been going on for a long time I think, but I really want to know what it is.

My theory is that they are hard drive noises, because every time I do something that would use the HDD they happen. But I am not quite sure.

I did my best to record the noise and then isolate it from the fan noise in my system. I uploaded it here: https://soundcloud.com/johngeorgearvanitis/pc-noise
Use headphones and turn the volume up. It is very quiet. It is louder IRL but isolating it made it quieter.

it's probably just your hard drive clicking meaning the life of the hard drive is coming to an end

So I should buy a new hard drive and move all my files onto it? Or what?

you can try following a youtube video to open the hard drive up and fixing the clicking but yea if anything i wouldn't risk losing my files and moving it off to another hard drive

Did you listen to it? It's not really clicking at all, if anything it sounds like electrical noise.

It's coming from inside the case but since all the parts are close together I can hardly tell which one it's coming from.
