I have a dell inspiron 9300... and there's no Wi-Fi on/off button... how would I go about turning on the Wi-Fi? If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it

For XP - Go to Control Pannel, Network Connections, In there should the the Wireless Connection. If it is greys out double click on it and it should enable it

For Vista and Up - Go to Control Panel, Network and Sharing Center, Click on Manager Network Connections in Blue on the Left had side, and if the Wireless Network Connection is Greyed out double click on it and it should enable it.

Now Dells usually have a Wifi On and Off Switch. It may be in the Form of a Physical Switch or it could be a Function Key. Ususually looking like this

Now if the Wireless symbole is White then you don't need to press the FN key. If its Blue you need to...

If this function key had turned off the wifi then doing what i first posted WILL NOT TURN IT BACK ON. That is only if it has been manually disabled and not disabled though the Function key. The Function key actaully turns the WIFI Card OFF and not just disabling it.
