I bought a mirco-ATX power supply for my micro-ATX case. PSU model FSP450-60GHS(85). Case model LIAN LI PC-C37.

PSU: http://www.fsplifestyle.com/product.php?LID=6&PSN=478
Case: http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt_portfolio/pc-c37

*I am planning to buy the following components to complete my system build:

ASUS Rampage IV Gene Motherboard

Intel Core i7 3.7GHz Processor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB Memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 650 1GB Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Seagate 4TB 64MB SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I would like to know if my power supply will handle the following daily workload without any issues:

- 1080p .m2ts file playback on local hard drive (20GB-40GB .m2ts files)
- Windows Server 2012 R2 running inside VMware (using MS recommended hardware configuration)

What concerns me are the reports I received from ASUS & Newegg using their Recommended PSU Calculator. I posted their reports online.

Please let me know if my current PSU meets the daily workload I proposed above.

Thank you.

At max system load, you're looking around 250w peak power consumption. This puts you right into the range for peak efficiency for the power supply. Here's Anand's test using a very similar setup (overclocked i7 extreme with a 650) pulling around 225w at load. You will be perfect, and have plenty of room for more overclocking and longevity.

With two 12 v rails of 18 amps each , that PSU will power your setup easily.
