AMD A6-3650
GTX 760
2*4GB DDR3
2 7200RPM HDDs
Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Headphones, DVD-RW Drive

PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 500W

I used this to check and I seem to be a 100W under.

If it is should I even bother upgrading my processor (for gaming) before fixing the PSU problem? And to what would I have to upgrade if I wanted to be set for an i5 or i7?

No it should not but your CPU is definitely bottlenecking a GTX760! You would need a new motherboard to go Intel I5 or I7.

Your power supply is plenty for any build with a 760. The FM1 socket is poor for gaming, and that would be what you're seeing slow-down if that's what you're referring to. I would upgrade to an i5 if you have the money, but a good budget option would be a 6300 like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($58.00 @ Newegg)
Total: $167.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

This would be fully capable of powering the 760, and is a much stronger CPU. You would see much less lag or frame rate drops caused by CPU strength.

Thanks for the suggestions but I already decided on a i3-4130 and Asrock B85 Pro4. And that's going to cost me 230 USD in my shitty Baltic state.
