My pc sticks at this point,l read various causes,changed graphics card with no change as some forums said this might be the issue. After several months of not using pc I changed the power supply as another possible solution. Pc then said could find no graphics driver so re-installed from cd and pc booted up all the way. Thought I'd cured it and began installing several windows 7 updates to catch up the settings. After rebooting to apply updates the pc again sticks at the blank screen.I've tried going back to 3 different restore points with no success.
Does anyone have any ideas to fix this without going to the extreme of re-installing windows.
