Hey guys,
Recently, I've cleaned out the inside of my computer with a blow dryer (NO heat, AIR ONLY).(EDIT: Also, I did NOT concentrate the air in one area. I waved the blow dryer around).
After my computer was cleaned out, I turned it on, went back to my normal games, and I get drastic FPS drops. I normally run the game at approx. 150fps, but after the cleaning, I get an average of about 50~60fps, with drops all the way down to 20~30fps.
Is there a reason why this is happening? It ONLY happened after cleaning out the inside of my computer of dust.
Games: LoL (Normally 50~55, now 30fps)
CrossFire (Normally 150fps, now 50~60fps)
Minecraft(Normal 60~70, now 30~45fps)
These are the games I typically play.
Computer specs (Completely stock)
AMD phenom ii 1045T x6 CPU
ATI HD 4250 GPU
Thermaltake tt-450nlnh-1 PSU
Thanks alot for your time!
