Can't remember the title of an old mystery game!

I used to play this sort of mystery game for kids, I'm not even sure if it's mystery. From what I remember you're supposed to escape a mansion/find something in said mansion. It's purely a kids' game since it didn't have any gore or blood or horror, it's a first-person game, too. It's also a point-and-click game. It starts you off in a room(I think it's your bedroom) and you have to find things to open certain doors around the house and I even remember there's salami in the kitchen... It's a coloful cartoon-style 2d game on a cd. I can't remember much after that :(

no it wasn't maniac mansion, I've already checked screenshots of that game. :( thanks for the help though! :)
It was a first-person-view type of game and the animation style was more of a cartoon. I also remember parts of the game where you were heading for a staircase and you had to use a match on a torch to go downstairs and stuff..
