I'm a bit new to hardware with computers. I'm trying to upgrade my current PC for gaming purposes. I'd just like to know if these would work together, and how well the system would run (specifically focusing on gaming). Also, any recommendations on hardware would be much appreciated. Thanks ^_^

Do not get an APU for gaming.

Go for a FX 6300 and a R9 270.

The APU came with my PC. Just curious, if I were to keep it and continue to get the mobo along with an R9 270, would it still work? (For budget reasons)

Oh well if you already have it and are on a budget it should work. But that motherboard is an AM3+ socket and the A10 reuqires a motherboard that is FM2 or FM2+
