AV3I motherboard power switch

I cant find the place to find to plug in the power switch,power led and H.D.D led i know its usually on the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard maybe a picture layout or something

Did you look for anything on the board like small white writing along the heads? sometimes they will show you where everything goes right on the motherboard

its emachine and i see where it says for the switch and everything but the writing is no where near any where to plug it in

Did you try the screwdriver onto the motherboard front panel connectors trick to power it up to see if it operational?

Yeah after that if the board powers on and posts the bios what I would try next is start plugging in the front panel connector that says pwr. Just try using the process of elimination. Start out by figuring out which one is for the pwr just keep connecting it to each possible one until you find when you hit the power button it comes on. just try one push the power button doesn't work, push the power button doesn't work try the next one until you get the power button to work. after that start doing the same for reset switch hit the reset switch when ever you try attaching it to different pins

Do you have any bulging or leaking capacitors? i got the power switch and all the led and hdd to work but i have no picture at all on the monitor

yes its in my case and no leaking capacitors

So you got a new case? did you install the standoffs when you installed it into your case?

its the orignal case to the computer the person i got it from took out the motherboard so im just reinstalling it the standoffs were already in it

Did they tell you if anything was wrong with it? a system of that would make me assume dead hardware

they said they didnt want to mess with it because they have other computers to work on they gave it to me for free they didnt say anything was wrong with it
