DVI to VGA - ahrd to find

So my R9 290x uses DVI-D and I wish to use multiple displays. Problem is I cannot find a cheap MST Hub nor can I find DVI-D to VGA splitter cables anywhere. Got any ideas (UK links if linking please)

You cannot go from DVI-D(digital) to VGA without an active converter, thats the nature of the beast. A DVI-I connector has those 4 extra pins that carry the RGB signal, DVI-D does not.

If you want to use multiple displays you are better off with DVI or HDMI, and unless you are using old displays you will have at least one of those two ports.

I am looking to play in 4K and I am really just looking for a way to make use of the DVI ports I have.
I have 2 DVI-D Ports, DP Port and HDMI.
Is there any way to run 6 screens without forking out £!00 for the MST Hub?
