Can I use expresscache on non os disk

I have currently have a 360 HDD os drive with win7 and readycache 32GB SSD expresscache drive. I bought a 1200 SSD that I plan to install Windows 8.1 on and use then 320GB HDD as storage. I was wondering if I can use the 32GB SSD with the expresscache software on the HHD l from what I have read the expresses cache software only works on OS HDD. Is this correct?

The Sandisk Readycache software expresscache, will only use the readycache ssd to cache your system drive.

If your motheboard supports intels smart response ssd caching, that one is able to cache non-system drives should you configure it to. And yes you can use the readycache drive to do this. Just dont install sandisk's software.
